Open House Can Be a Zoo
We live in Southern California by the beach, and if you've never been here, you won't know that for some reason most of us can leave our doors and windows open without all the flies and June bugs that careened into our Texas home when I was growing up in Fort Worth. There are usually a couple of weeks in late summer when we long for the air conditioning that most of us didn't purchase with our homes because...well...we live near those cool ocean breezes.
